FIFA World Cup 2022 is just entering into its last moments and the officials of FIFA are working day And night in order to sum up all the necessary preparations before the start of this mega event and in this scenario FIFA has also announced the list of Referees and Assistants for World Cup 2022. FIFA has selected total 36 referees picked up of the behalf of their performance from different football leagues. The list does include the names of Video Referees as their names will be revealed on March 2022. Different football associations represent the list of referees to FIFA and finally FIFA have selected 10 referees from UEFA, 6 from CONMEBEL and CONCACAF for FIFA World Cup 2022.
FIFA with changing times also adopting new technologies in order to conduct fair competitions and in current event FIFA is going to introduce Video Referee to check out the close calls made during matches and this is for the 1st time in history FIFA is using this invention. The beginning dates of FIFA 2022 are June 2022 and continue till July 2022. The list of finalized Referees is given below in the table.
