Just In: England vice-captain and main stream all-rounder Ben Stokes has been dropped down from ongoing test series against Pakistan. According to English Broad, Ben Stokes will not appear in remaining two test games due to family reasons.
During the 1st Test match, Ben Stokes seemed quite out of form and was not declared fit to bowl in the first innings due to injury. However he bowled four over in 2nd innings. England team has picked Stokes as Batsman in that test match.
Ben Stokes hasn’t performed well with bat in both innings however he took two crucial wickets in 2nd innings. Earlier this season Ben Stokes has picked up injury against West Indies and Doctors advised him for rest.
England cricket team is having their official 3 Match Test series against Pakistan and they are already leading this series by 1-0. The 2nd test match between England vs Pakistan is scheduled to be played on 13th August 2020.
Now England Cricket Board is looking for best replacement for Ben Stokes and experienced Zak Crawly would be the first priority of this side. Zak Crawley is one of the main stream batsman of this side and he also appeared in test series against West Indies.
