Pakistan faced England in 3rd ODI Match of their ongoing series on 14th May 2019 at Bristol. English skipper Eoin Morgan after winning the toss elected to bowl 1st while closely observed the playing conditions at Bristol County Ground, Bristol.
Pakistan opening pair Imam-ul-Haq along with Fakhar Azam came out to open up innings for their team but unlike 2nd ODI match this opening pair failed to provide any kind of strong start to their side as Pakistan lost their 1st wicket at the total of 7 runs.
The 2nd ODI match hero, F Zaman in this match failed to put some scores on the board and targeted by Woakes in 1st over. Zaman returned to pavilion while scored only 2 runs. Baber Azam was the next man in for Pakistan.
Pakistan at the total of 27 runs lost their 2nd wicket and this time Baber Azam was hunted by Woakes again and he left the field while scored only 15 runs. Pakistan after losing two earlier wickets looked in deep trouble until Haris Sohail joined Imam on field.
Both Haris and Imam played brilliantly and took their team total to 95 runs in 16th over of the match. Haris after playing superb knock of 41 runs got run out and returned to pavilion. Pakistan’s skipper S Ahmad was the next man in for Pakistan.
Pakistan lost their 4th wicket in 27th over and this times Ahmad after scoring 27 runs caught out by Jordan and Plunkeet. At this stage Asif Ali and Iman once again took command of their side and took their team total to 287 runs in 42nd over of the match.
Asif after playing extra ordinary innings of 52 runs got out and Imad Wasim replaced him. Pakistan at the total of 310 runs lost their most set batsman as Imam playing brilliant 151 runs bowled out. Imam from the start of his innings played positively and helped his team to reach 300 milestone against strong England.
Pakistan at the end of 50th over scored 358 runs while lost their 9 wickets. Hasan Ali in last two over played aggressively and hit 2 sixes and 1 four. Shaheen Afridi also hit 1 long shot and scored 7 runs on just 4 deliveries.
