Pakistan vs New Zealand 1st Semi-final Prediction T20 World Cup

Bags were packed, tickets were booked and experts had started autopsy on this tournament. But hysteria victory of Netherlands over South Africa ensured Pakistan’s place in the Semi-final of T20 World Cup,2022. The team thrash out Africans by their elegant performance on Sunday, it was the biggest inning between both sides. Netherlands clear the way for Africans back to pavilion after defeating them by 13 runs.

Previous Matches Performance

Pakistan lose their first match in the depth over from India by the doubtful decisions of the Umpire. After consecutive losing matches Green caps also lose their hope to qualify in the semi-final. Luckily having chance Men in Green decided to play with the given squad.

Pakistan’s newly appointed coach Matthew Hayden has warned the opponent side of the aggressive come back as Pakistan expects fierce changes in their  bowling and batting line-up. Over all performance of the Pakistan bowlers was tremendous in the last matches but some flaws in the team step them back, however  Green caps have a big chance to defeat the flaws as well as their opponents.

New Zealand

New Zealand reached in the Semi-final against Pakistan by their extra ordinary performance in their last matches and stands at the top position in the Group. They played their first match against Australia and won the match by 89 runs. 2nd match of the Black Caps were drawn due to rain, while on Oct 29, 2022 they confirmed their victory by defeating Sri Lanka with 65 runs. luckily England defeated New Zealand in the last match by 20 runs.

Having highest points in the group clear the  way for Black Caps to qualify in the semi-final. Kiwis has also experienced players in their squad as they announced their squad for the semi-final mentioned below.

New Zealand’s Previous Performance

In the opening match against Australia,Finn Allen and Dewon Conway was on fire, they opened the inning aggressively. Allen scored 42 off 16 while Conway scored 92 off 58 and remained not out. Glen Phillips in the 3rd match against Sri Lanka played outstandingly and scored 104 off 64. His experienced batting skills and Trent Boult bowling skills who took 4 wickets lead black caps to the victory line and they defeat Sri Lanka by 65 runs.

Unfortunately in the last match the openers of the Kiwis did not played well except Glen Phillip who scored 62 off 36 ,by showing poor performance they lose the match by 20 runs.

Prediction

The task won’t be easy for both teams because Men in Black are at the top position in the Group B while Green Caps are also very excited to fancy their chances to win after closely escaping the elimination chances from the event. Nevertheless, it is going to be a tough battle as both teams comprises T20 specialist but at the end of the day would decide who played better and win.
