Just In! Inter Milan has finally named their new coach before the start of their 2019-20 season. Inter Milan has appointed former Italy Manager Antonio Conte as their head coach whereas club is expecting to re-gain their lost glory in the football world under the supervision of Italian star.
Inter Milan on Friday announced this big news and as per details Antonio has inked his 3 years contract that estimated around $10 million plus performance based bonuses. The 49 years old former Italian legend has replaced Luciano Spalletti who now joined Inter’s Champions League last Sunday just after the Final Match of Serie A 2018-19 season.
Inter Milan although won 18 league titles back in the history but their performance in recent few years remained on low end as this club has won their last Coppa Italia title back in 2011 and now they are hoping to return to the top of the football world under their newly appointed coach.
Antonio Conte holds very impressive coaching record as Conte remained with many high profile clubs in recent years including Chelsea. Juventus had won Serie A titles under his training whereas Chelsea had also won Premier League and FA Cup under the supervision of Conte.
Inter Milan Chairman Steve Wang looks pretty satisfied with their new coach selection. Wang further added that “A new chapter is opening for Inter Milan and we are hoping that Conte will prove himself as of the best coaches for Inter Milan.”
Earlier this month, Juventus has also approached Conte after they had removed Massimiliano Allegri. The former Inter Milan Coach Spalletti has joined this club back in 2017 whereas he previously coached Roma and Zenit Saint Petersburg.
However, the performance of Inter Milan under Spalletti remained below expectations as the club has been eliminated from the group stage rounds of Champions League and they also ended up on 16th position in the Europa League.
