Indian team’s middle-order batsman Suryakumar Yadav’s effort to get the king in the ICC Men’s Players T20 Rankings continues. He has taken another step towards ‘number one’ in the latest T20 rankings. He has reached the top-3 with the advantage of one place. He has got 780 rating points. Suryakumar got this advantage after playing a blistering innings in the first T20 match against Australia on Tuesday. After landing at number five, he scored 44 runs in 25 balls with the help of 2 fours and 4 sixes.
Babar Azam’s loss
Babar Azam, the captain of the Pakistan team, is facing continuous losses in the T20 rankings. Babar, who was at the top last month, has now slipped one place to the fourth position. He currently has 771 ratings. At the same time, Pakistan’s wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan is at the top, with 825 rating points. South Africa’s Aiden Markram (792 rating points) is at number two. If we look at Suryakumar’s current form, then he can leave Markram behind soon. Suryakumar needs 9 points to come second.
